Paul J Barbour
Coach and FACILITATOR
Lead FXL Partner in Coaching
Paul J Barbour is a successful Executive/Team Coach and a Learning and Development Facilitator, who has a passion for how neuroscience can be applied to help both individuals and teams maximise their potential. Paul is both a NLP and a Lumina Learning Practitioner.
Previously, Paul spent over 20 years successfully operating at senior leadership level in one of the world’s leading food and ingredients companies, Kerry Group. During this period, Paul led an all-Ireland commercial team of 175 personnel across 11 locations and managed Ireland’s largest food brand. In addition, Paul led a cross function team in embedding SAP, led a major business transformation project, played a lead role in 2 business integrations, was part of a team who developed the organisations purpose, vision and values and played a lead role in delivering the organisations commercial capability development programme across the UK and Ireland.
Paul is currently completing his third postgraduate qualification, an MSc in Coaching and Behavioural Change at Henley Business School.

An honours graduate in Agricultural Chemistry from Queens University of Belfast, John has over 30 years industry experience in sales and marketing and leadership roles; experience gained in a variety of roles from Territory Sales Representative and Field Sales Manager through to Sales and Marketing Director, and since September 2000 as Managing Director of Facilitating Excellence (Ireland) Ltd.
Empowering individuals and helping people and businesses fulfil their potential has always been a key part of John’s leadership approach. This approach is evident in all of the client work FXL Executive solutions perform.
The industry experience gained as employee, director and now performance facilitator has been augmented through significant personal development work in the areas of coaching, business strategy, culture development and transforming performance.
